Sigma Beauty The Perfect Blend Kit | Review

One of my dreams has come true: The Perfect Blend Kit is finally in my hands!
A wonderful 6 piece brush set specifically made for blending. The brushes have very peculiar shapes which are rarely found in other brands.
A few weeks ago the Italian online store Stockmakeup had a 15% off, so I caved in and purchased The Perfect Blend Kit from Sigma Beauty.
In this post I'll show you each brush in details, what it's meant for and the way I love using it.

E48 - Pointed Crease

I had never seen a brush like this before I purchased it.
Bristles are very long, tapered and flexible. The tip fits perfectly in the crease.
Due to its lack of density I'd say this brush is great for a diffuse and slight blend.
I think it would be better for people who have hooded eyes and find hard to reach the eye socket precisely.

E32 - Exact Blend

A bigger version of the Smudge brush.
Very dense bristles, great for a precise blending.
I love using it to smudge eye pencil all over the lid or to blend out any harsh lines along the lower lashline.
I reach for this brush very often and I'm glad to have it in my stash.

E39 - Buff and Blend

Another brush with dense bristles but with a rounded tip.
It's too big for applying eyeshadow in the crease but it's great to blend it in a precise way.
I also like this brush to blend a darker eyeshadow in the outer v.

E37 - All Over Blend

This brush looks similar to the E39 above but it has some differences:
1- It's slightly bigger
2- Its bristles are more dense.

It's great to smooth out any harsh lines, which may be difficult using a brush with more flexible bristles.

E38 - Diffused Crease

This brush is a middle way between the classic tapered blending brush (like the E40) and the blending brush (E25). Bristles are soft like the first and wide like the second.

It's great to apply a transition shade in the crease without spending too much time in blending.
I think this may be the most useful brush in the entire kit.

E71 - Highlight Diffuser

Dense bristles and angled cut.

This brush is meant to add and blend highlight spots in different areas of your face.

I found out a different way to use this brush, which is blending concealer all over the eye area. I also used it to highlight the browbone and it worked good.

Conclusioni... / Overall...

I'd recommend this brush kit to the ones who already have the basic brushes for blending and want to expand their range. I felt the need of these brushes so I decided it was time to make an investment.
I love every single brush in this kit but, in my opinion, the most important ones are: E38, E39, E32. Being also sold separately, if you can place an order I highly recommend at least one of these three.

Prezzo / Price

This brush set retailed for 63€ on Stockmakeup and 63$ on Sigma Beauty official store.
With a 15% discount and free shipping it only costed 53,55€. It was a good deal, but Sigma Beauty has recently increased its prices, so The Perfect Blend retails for 72$ now (72€ at Stockmakeup).

Come omaggi per l'ordine ho ricevuto diverse cosine:

I also received two samples and a small size of the Brush Cleaning Glove from Sigma.

I haven't used the samples yet, but I have been using the glove in the last days. As a sample it's smaller than my hand, so I find it unconfortable to use but it works good and I'd be curious to try out the original size.

I'm so glad I got the chance to purchase this kit. I'm mad for brushes!

As said in this post I'm going to make a "eye brushes comparison" to clear some differences between similar products. If you find this a good idea let me know :)
