The Flowers Series ~ #4 Cactus Flower makeup

Eccoci di nuovo con The Flowers Series! 

Venerdì scorso ho dovuto rimandare l'appuntamento di una settimana, spero di riuscire a pubblicare puntuale anche il prossimo episodio (parto per Londra venerdì 27).

Per oggi mi sono ispirata al fiore di Cactus! Il trucco non è venuto brillante come avrei voluto e ho litigato per un'ora abbondante con la macchina fotografica, non riuscendo a fare uno scatto decente. Di seguito potete vedere il mio risultato finale.

Here we are again with "The Flowers Series"!

Last Friday I had to postpone the fourth episode to this week. I hope I'll be able to post the fifth episode promptly as I'm leaving for London on June 27th.

Today's look is inspired by Cactus flower! My makeup didn't turn out the way I wanted and I've been fighting with my camera in the attempt to take a decent picture. The following is the final result.

"Pop of Lime" makeup || feat. Electric palette

La mia tanto agognata palette dell'anno, ovvero l'Electric, è finalmente nelle mie mani! Ho aspettato di poterla vedere dal vivo prima di acquistarla, pur sapendo che sarebbe stata una garanzia anche prenderla "al buio".

Oggi vi propongo il mio primo makeup che racchiude una delle mie tonalità preferite della palette, Fringe, abbinata con il verde acido Trash. I due ombretti insieme hanno prodotto un bellissimo verde prato che, a mio avviso, è una perfetta congiunzione tra Fringe e Trash.

My craved Electric palette is finally in my hands! I've waited its launch in Italy for so long just to see it in person (even if it's so amazing I could have done a blind purchase way before).

Today I'll show you my first makeup look which features one of my favourite shades in this palette, Fringe, paired with acid green Trash. The two eyeshadows mixed together created a gorgeous grass green which I think is a perfect match for Fringe and Trash.

Devo dire la verità: non ho un passato pieno di orrori, tagli o colori di capelli sconcertanti perché ho dei gusti abbastanza decisi e non mi piace cambiare troppo il mio aspetto. L'unica variabile nel mio look è il trucco, ma questo è scontato per un'amante del makeup ^_^

Questo sarà l'ennesimo post sulla nuova collezione Solaris di Nabla ma, quando si tratta di ombretti, non posso esimermi dal dire la mia!

There are probably thousands of posts about the new collection from Nabla Cosmetics, Solaris. However, when it comes to eyeshadows I need to talk about them too!

The Flowers Series ~ #3 Delphinium Blue makeup

Se c'è una combinazione che amo, è proprio blu e viola assieme. Sono abituata a portare il blu nei vestiti, nei trucchi e talvolta anche negli accessori: il viola invece è stata una scoperta relativamente recente nel makeup e da quando ho imparato ad apprezzarlo non riesco più a farne a meno. Complice, poi, è anche il fatto che sia un colore molto ricorrente nei fiori.

One of my favourite color combinations is blue and purple. I use to wear blue clothes and accessories but purple has been a recent and wonderful discovery in makeup: I can't get enough of it! Moreover, purple is a very recurring color in flowers.
